Disaster Relief Hub and Community Distributions
We provide essential services and support to our communities affected by natural or man-made disasters. The Hub has served as a central point for distributing emergency supplies, such as food, water, medical aid, heaters, hot tents, and hygiene products. The Hub also offers case management, emotional support, and coordination of volunteer efforts to help those in need. By partnering with local organizations, government agencies, and volunteers, the disaster relief hub works hard to ensure rapid response and recovery, aiming to restore safety and stability to affected areas in Polk County.
Services from The Hub are available by appointment. Please call or message 828-722-1250 for supportive services from The Hub.
Community Integration
We aim to be an active part of the community by building strong relationships with residents, businesses, other nonprofits, and government agencies to understand and address the unique needs of our community. Collectively our efforts help foster an inclusive environment, where community members are supported, resources are shared, and efforts lead to lasting change.
We have established partnerships with other local community nonprofits, and churches to provide a collaborative effort in recovery efforts, rehabilitation, and rebuilding projects in Polk County since early October - 2024. We have been able to bring support to local food banks, diaper banks, the local domestic violence shelter, and church distribution centers to assist local community members in need.
